Komputo

Submit work, not servers. Komputo runs your job on the greenest compliant EU place you can reach — your clouds, your runners, or the free pool — then proves what it cost and emitted.

Komputo is not a place you rent a server. It is a place you submit work. You describe what to run, what it needs, and your policy (cheapest, greenest, or balanced — always within EU jurisdiction). Komputo finds the best European place to run it right now, streams you the logs, hands back your outputs, and gives you a receipt proving the cost, the energy used, the CO2 emitted, and that the work never left the EU.

You never pick a machine, a region, or a provider — you describe the work and the policy, and Komputo does the placing. The node is torn down when the job ends, so there are no idle servers and no surprise bills. New here? Start with the Quickstart, then the mental model.

Komputo schedules onto three kinds of EU-sovereign compute. You choose which are eligible with one placement line in your policy — or let Komputo use all of them.

Your connected clouds

Bring your own EU provider accounts (BYOC). Your rates, your credits, your data — Komputo just schedules onto them. Providers bill you directly.

Your self-hosted runners

Attach your own machines as a fleet. Same job spec, same receipt, same EU carbon attribution.

The free shared pool

Run real jobs on a metered EU pool before connecting a single cloud account.

Sovereign by default

Every job runs inside EU jurisdiction — a hard filter applied before placement, never a preference. The receipt attests residency.

Carbon-aware placement

Placement scores live grid carbon intensity (two independent sources), not just price — and can time-shift deferrable jobs to the cleanest hour.

One vocabulary everywhere

CLI, Web, and MCP share the same job states, provider names, and units.

Receipts you can hand to an auditor

Cost, energy, carbon, and EU residency for every completed job — informational, never a bill.
